Turn infomail filtering on or off

Login to the control panel at: https://cp.hornetsecurity.com/login

Select the small cog icon at the top right corner, next to your email address:

From here you can toggle the infomail filter on or off by sliding the switch icon next to “Activate infomail filter”

Change Quarantine Report Delivery Settings

Select the small cog icon at the top right corner, next to your email address:

From here you can select the “Set your own delivery times” toggle switch and then select when you would like to receive your report(s):

Quarantine Reports

Most users manage their mail filter service just from using the links in the Quarantine Reports.

Below is an example report with the individual elements highlighted:

1 = Date and Time that the report was generated, followed by the email account being filtered.  This is important if you have more than 1 mailbox.

2 = Mail From

3 = Subject

4 = Classification

5 = Safe “Preview” Button

6 = “Deliver” Button

7 = “Add Sender to allow list” button

Hornetsecurity Outlook Add-In

If you have Hornetsecurity 365 Total Protection Business or Total Protection Enterprise services, you will have the MS365 Outlook add-in enabled for all users in your domain.

If this is active you will see a new “Hornetsecurity” section appear in the Outlook application’s top menu bar.

Depending on your current view settings it will looks something like one of these:

You can also use the plugin within the online version of Outlook Web Access (OWA).  The plugin appears as a small Hornetsecurity icon in the top right of any message preview window, like the example below:

From any of these interfaces you can use the buttons to quickly Add the selected Email sender to the Allow or Deny lists.

You can also report an email that has not been classified as Infomail but you want to classify as Infomail from now on.
